Application of the Construction Products Regulation to materials handling, lifting and storage equipment

FEM has issued a guidance document providing assistance in the interpretation and application of key principles of the Construction Products Regulation (305/2011/EU).

This document helps to assess whether this piece of legislation applies to potentially relevant equipment, since several types of materials handling, lifting and storage equipment are associated with construction works.

The Construction Products Regulation lays down harmonised conditions for the marketing of construction products, notably their performance and the use of CE marking on these products.
