Il documento aiuta i produttori e gli importatori di articoli a capire se hanno degli obblighi imposti da REACH, in particolare in relazione alla registrazione e alla notifica di cui all'Articolo 7, e in relazione alle comunicazioni nella catena d'approvvigionamento di articoli di cui all'Articolo 33.
L'ECHA ha pubblicato un aggiornamento completo alla sua Guida sui requisiti per le sostanze negli articoli. Dà maggiore chiarezza agli obblighi di comunicazione e di notifica delle aziende quando le materie di grande preoccupazione sono contenute negli articoli.
