Safety Risk Assessment

To assist operators in meeting ICAO’s requirement (Annex 6 Chapter 15 – Cargo Compartment Safety) for conducting safety risk assessments, a new guidance document Carriage of Cargo, Mail and Baggage – Guidance for Operators has been developed. This document provides guidance on potential issues that operators should consider when conducting a safety risk assessment and possible mitigation measures that can be considered to minimize the risk to as low as acceptable.
