Con la decisione di esecuzione (UE) 2019/436 della Commissione, del 18 marzo 2019 (GU L 75 del 19 marzo 2019), la EN ISO 14118:2018 Sicurezza del macchinario - Prevenzione dell'avviamento inatteso (ISO 14118:2017), norma di tipo B, è armonizzata per la Direttiva macchine 2006/42/CE dal 19 Marzo 2018, la EN 1037:1995+A1:2008 Sicurezza del macchinario - Prevenzione dell'avviamento inatteso è ritirata dal 19 Marzo 2019. 17 maggio 2018: la norma è stata sostituita da EN ISO 14118:2018
