Il Ministero delle infrastrutture e della mobilità sostenibili seguirà i lavori del Comitato Tripartito Speciale (STC) della Convenzione Quadro sul Lavoro Marittimo (MLC 2006) che si terranno dal 5 al 13 maggio 2022 presso l’Organizzazione internazionale del Lavoro.
Durante tali lavori verranno esaminate le proposte di emendamenti al Codice della MLC 2006, presentati dagli Stati che hanno ratificato la Convenzione e dalle Organizzazioni Sindacali e Armatoriali internazionali di settore.

Fourth Meeting of the Special Tripartite Committee of the Maritime Labour Convention, 2006 (MLC, 2006) - Part II (5 to 13 May 2022)
The fourth meeting of the Special Tripartite Committee will take place in two parts. Part I was held in a virtual format from 19 to 23 April 2021. Part II will take place from 5 to 13 May
Following a decision adopted by the ILO Governing Body at its 340th Session (October-November 2020), the fourth meeting of the Special Tripartite Committee will take place in two parts.
- Part I was held in a virtual format from 19 to 23 April 2021.
- Part II will take place from 5 to 13 May 2022 (hybrid format).
Following consultations with the Officers of the STC and taking into account the evolution of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Fourth meeting (Part II) of the STC will take place from 5 to 13 May 2022 in a hybrid format. Physical attendance to the ILO headquarters in Geneva will be limited to a number of seafarers’ and shipowners’ representatives, 2 representatives per Member State having ratified the MLC, 2006 and 1 representative per Member State which have not ratified the Convention. All other accredited representatives will be able to participate via the zoom platform.
The online accreditation system to the meeting will stay open until 2 May 2022 (deadline extended). The necessary access codes were sent to each Government through their Permanent Missions in Geneva (or as otherwise agreed), to the secretariats of the Shipowners’ and Seafarers’ groups and to the Observers invited to the meeting.
